The suspension has been designed and manufactured specifically for use on B6 armoured versions of the Land Cruiser 200-series vehicle, which have kerb weight of 4000kg – 4250kg and GVW of 4600kg – 5200kg. The kit is made up of “heavy-duty” aftermarket dampers and bespoke front and rear Silicone chrome springs. Assumptions of both the general road conditions and ambient temperatures in the locations where these vehicles are likely to be deployed have been taken into account throughout development. Tuning of the suspension and ride and handling tests have been carried out on unladen and fully-laden armoured vehicles with over-checks for evasive maneuver stability and light/moderate off-road capability.
